1972 Williams Typhoon pinball machine
Building Location: Marv_E1
Game Type = EM

The 1972 Williams Typhoon was a Harry Williams game design that was never made by Williams Manufacturing. Harry Williams was under contract to do playfield designs for WMS during the early 1970s, and he designed about 60 playfields, of which none were made. Thanks to Duncan Brown, the playfield sketches were saved from WMS when it closed the pinball division in 1999. From the Harry Williams Typhoon drawing, a 'whitewood' was made, using a 1973 Williams Honey as the cabinet base. This game is the result of that work, and is the only one in existance. We are honored to have it at the Ann Arbor Pinball Museum!

This is the actual game at the VFW Pinball Museum. Any questions regardling this game, or any games for sale, please email the VFW Pinball Museum at
